Uplat App
UPLAT App serves as an intermediary platform for the various partners to relate and make transactions. We bring together the user, service provider, and banks for one major purpose; which is to ensure that the user has access to credit facilities to utilize in purchasing goods and services online and offline. We are not a financial institution, neither are we a lending house or money lending platform we are a platform that presents the customer/user a favorable and efficient option to utilize services and pay for the service latter.
MODE OF OPERATION
The UPLAT service can be accessed via the following platforms;
- Accessing Our App
Depending on the preference of the customer, the UPLAT service can be accessed through our App; this option best serves our customers using android phones or IOS devices.
- Accessing Our USSD Code
The customer can also access our services via our USSD code. All they need to do is dial our USSD code on their phone and then follow the processes.
Uplat App Features
FuEl Station
The UPLAT App is available for purchase of fuel from any of our partner filling station. All the user needs to do is acquire a pin from the UPLAT App to use for fuel purchase at point of Services.
PAYING TRAVEL TICKETS (AIR & ROAD)
This way, the user/customer can book travel tickets via the UPLAT App or access the service via the transport company’s web sites or Apps. All they need to do is Log-in via any of the mentioned platforms and pay for their travel tickets.
ONLINE SHOPPING
Users will be offered the opportunity to utilize the UPLAT App service for their online shopping, this way the user can subscribe to the online shopping icon on the UPLAT App or log-in via the online shop platform and then gain access to credit to purchase items of their choice. Users will be restricted from purchasing items that they are eligible to buy according to the number of funds/credit they qualify to have access to from their bank. This way the user is reminded of their token before they make any purchase.
PAYING UTILITY BILLS
Just like the betting sites, the user can access our service for paying their utility bills such as; cable network bills, electricity bills, waste disposal bills, water supply bills amongst others. via the UPLAT App platform. These Utility Bills options will be available on the UPLAT App, and can also be accessed using our USSD Code. Customers can choose what they want to pay for. All the user needs to do is log into the App or dial the USSD Code, select the Utility they intend to pay for, and then click payment. Instantly the user will be notified of their transaction (Approved or Decline).
OTHERS
The user can also make their hotels reservation and lodging, buy cinema tickets, pay their restaurant bills, and any other bill on credit and pay back whenever they have funds. The UPLAT App can be utilized for any other services. All the user and the service provider need to do is to have the UPLAT App installed on their mobile device or computer and be signed-onto (registered) the UPLAT Platform.
Note: The user will not be allowed to borrow more than the credit limit they qualify for until they pay back the previous debt.
As in other services the user will be required to register a valid functional bank account before they can assess this service. The account must be a functional one used to make purchases on a frequent basis. The user’s bank will be debited as soon as they receive money but not before the agreed time.
SHOPPING IN SUPERMARKETS
This mode will be different from the others as the user is required to Log into the UPLAT App sign-in to their UPLAT account and then obtain a 24 hours pin (CSP) to enable them to shop in supermarkets that utilize the UPLAT App to receive payment. With this pin, the user/customer has an additional option to cross counter paying with cash and debit cards (ATM Card). The only difference is that the UPLAT App (CSP) offers a credit option to the user.
Here the teller on the payment counter asks the user for their UPLAT pin on point on payment. Logs the pin into their system when given by the user and confirm payment or decline of transaction. This way the customer goes home with the items they have purchased and is debited from their account when their Bank account is being credited, and the Supermarket gets paid instantly. The UPLAT 24 hour pin can also be accessed via our USSD Code.
